Creamy Ranch Pork Chops

I find that often the simplest recipes are the best.  This 3 ingredient wonder is Creamy Ranch Pork Chops.

This dish is something I used to make in college and has quickly become one of my husbands favorites.  It can be pared with just about any side, but I would suggest the Cheesy Veggies.

Here’s what you’ll need:

4, 3-4 oz pork chops; 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream; 2 tablespoons dry ranch mix.  That’s it!

Yogert and ranch

First you mix the yogurt or sour cream with the ranch mix.

Make sure to mix it well to ensure even distribution of the ranch.

At this stage, the yogurt and ranch make an amazing veggie dip too.  Yum!

chops in pan

After the ranch is all mixed up, place your 4 pork chops in an oven safe pan.  No need to season the chops, the ranch mix will add all the flavor these little babies need.

topping chops

Evenly distribute the ranch mix onto the pork chops with a spoon.

oven ready

Spread the ranch mix to cover then entire top of each pork chop and cover the pan with foil.  Place the covered pan in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 40-45 minutes.

After the pork chops are cooked, remove them from the oven and serve hot.  These chops reheat very well and can be frozen in make ahead meals.

Josh asked if we could have them with mashed potatoes and gravy and succotash.  It was a wonderfully filling comfort kind of meal, and we look forward to having the leftovers 🙂
