Pittsburgh BBQ Ham (Isaly’s)

Welcome back to TreadlingHome!  Today we are going to talk about a hometown recipe for me, Pittsburgh BBQ Ham.

It is Isaly’s traditional recipe handed down through 4 generations of my family without change.  This is one of those regional recipes that each family has their own variation, and this is my families take on it.

Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 pound of chipped ham; 1 bottle of chili sauce; 1 chili sauce bottle of apple cider vinegar; 1 chili sauce bottle of water; 1/2-1 cup brown sugar, to taste.  All you have to do is dump all the ingredients into a pot or slow cooker and let it cook down.
